The Advisory list for self-classification of dangerous substances

To improve the help to companies to self-classify chemicals, the Environmental Protection Agency has prepared the third version of the advisory list for self-classification of dangerous substances, where (Q) SAR models have been used to predict a number of hazardous endpoints upon which advisory self-classifications were assigned. In comparison with the previous version of the advisory list, the advisory classifications  are made according to the CLP-regulation for classification and labeling of chemicals. The list includes the following endpoints:  Mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, reproductive toxicity (harm to the unborn child), acute oral toxicity, skin sensitization, skin irritation and danger to the aquatic environment. The amended list now includes advisory classifications for 33.835 substances.
