2013 - Survey of 20 substances on the List of Undesirable Substances (LOUS)

The Danish EPA invites all interested parties to tender for the execution of 20 surveys on substances on LOUS.

It is possible for all companies to tender separately for between one and all the sub-agreements. Therefore a single provider will be able to provide all 20 sub-agreements. All sub-agreements will be judged in the same way. The award criteria are therefore the same for all 20 sub-agreements.

Surveys of all 20 substances together are being put out to tender, but the contract period is such that the 20 substances are divided over two periods.

The first contract period runs from 1 March 2013 to 1 October 2013 for the following substances:

Sub-agreement 4: phenol
Sub-agreement 6: certain oil and carbon derivative substances (mineral turpentine, solvent naphtha (crude oil))
Sub-agreement 7: lead and lead compounds
Sub-agreement 9: certain copper(I)oxide, copper (II)sulphate, copper(I)chloride
Sub-agreement 10: trisodium nitrilotriacetate
Sub-agreement 13: certain phthalates 
Sub-agreement 14: certain isocyanates – MDI and TDI
Sub-agreement 15: certain brominated flame retardants
Sub-agreement 16: mercury and mercury compounds
Sub-agreement 17: MTBE
Sub-agreement 20: tris(2-chloro-1-methylethyl)phosphate

The second contract period runs from 1 September 2013 to 1 May 2014 for the following substances:

Sub-agreement 1: n.hexane
Sub-agreement 2: 2.2’-Iminodiethanol
Sub-agreement 3: styrene and toluene
Sub-agreement 5: N,N-demethylformamide
Sub-agreement 8: C.I. pigment yellow 34 (lead sulfochromate) 
Sub-agreement 11: chloroparaffins (short-chained and medium-chained)
Sub-agreement 12: fluorinated greenhouse gases (HFC’s, PFC’s, sulphurhexafluoride)
Sub-agreement 18: benzylchloride
Sub-agreement 19: formaldehyde

Tenders shall reach the Contracting Entity no later than 29 January 2013 at 12:00 midday.
