Organisation and values

The Environmental Protection Agency is organised into divisions. Seven divisions are located in Copenhagen and the remaining three in Odense, Aarhus and Roskilde.

The Environmental Protection Agency's major general projects are approached through cross-departmental organisation. The management team consists of the Directors, Heads of Division and Heads of Function.

The Ministry of the Environment
The Environmental Protection Agency is part of the Ministry of the Environment, which, besides the Environmental Protection Agency, consists of two other agencies:

  • The national Survey and Cadastre and
  • The Danish Nature Agency.

The organisation also includes:

  • The Environmental Board of Appeal.
