The Danish Minister for the Environment Mrs. Ida Auken has decided on the focus areas for the Danish Government’s Ecoinnovation activities in 2012.
Increasing pressure on natural resources, environmental challenges and the economic crisis create a demand for new and more effective environmental solutions – a demand that a number of Danish enterprises have good possibilities to transform into new green technologies, new jobs and more export.
A new programme for promoting Eco-innovation, “MUDP - Miljøteknologisk Udviklings- og Demonstrations Program”, is established to support the Danish enterprises to develop new eco-efficient solutions to meet the Danish as well as the global environmental challenges. The new programme focus on e.g.:
